About
Ingo Weber is an impact investor and operator with 20+ years' experience backing and scaling profitable, impact-driven businesses. He is the principal of bridge impact capital, his own investment and advisory firm.
Ingo is a founding Investment Committee member of LeapFrog Investments, on the IC since its first fund in 2008, overseeing roughly USD 1.6bn deployed across multiple funds into businesses serving hundreds of millions of emerging-market consumers. He is Venture Partner at Apis Partners and an IC member of BlueOrchard's climate-insurance fund.
As an operator he has built and scaled technology businesses to exit as CEO, COO, and CFO; earlier he led M&A and investments at Swiss Re, GE, and SoftBank. He is a founding board member of the Swiss Platform for Impact Investing — the Swiss National Partner of GSG Impact — and teaches the private-markets session of the University of St.Gallen (HSG) executive course Impact Investing: From Insight to Impact.
